I'm proud to announce that I will officially start the "What To Do" web series on my YouTube channel with the first webisode releasing as early as next week. Each webisode will aim to inform people 'what to do' when they're stuck in certain situations and will be made in a typical YouTube style and not as film-like.
I've already completed a couple webisodes already while making 'Vetri'. It was made for fun and to entertain close friends and family but I feel my followers may enjoy this as well and hence I've decided to make it public. In terms of how good it is, I'm not really sure yet. I've already made 3 short films but this will be my first web series so I'm yet to see how this will turn out. If the first few webisodes go well, I might continue to make a few more.
And if it goes really well, I'll continue to make regular webisodes with a schedule while also making more short films. That way, I will have regular content on my channel while you guys wait for my next film. I'll also try to make the web series more interactive and get my followers and subscribers involved in the webisodes, such as making suggestions for the next webisode and getting featured and so on. I'm probably getting a little too ahead of myself for now and need to see if the first few webisodes do well.
I'm in my final year of Uni now and I'm less likely to be as active on YouTube, Google+ and Facebook till December which just means I might not be as quick to reply to comments and that I'll be taking my time with the next short film. If only I could do this full-time *sigh*! Luckily, I've nearly completed enough webisodes to last December (and keep my channel alive) leaving more time to study for final exams and start work on the next short film!
The first webisode releases next Tuesday (24th June). Be sure to subscribe to Thilakanathan Studios to never miss a webisode!
